When someone enters the fire service, they also become a member of a “fire department family.” Just like firefighters take care of the public, they also take care of their own. They are always willing to provide help to others but rarely ask for any help. Firefighters have cherished this time-honored tradition of quietly helping each other during times of personal hardship, illness and loss. In this section of the Fire Department’s website, we’d like to share a glimpse of all of our affiliated organizations that share a common mission: to help one another in times of need.
