PUBLIC SAFETY AND FILM UNIT – UPDATE 05-26-2011

-- Effective June 1, 2011, Film Desk will be able to accept online credit card payments. More information and instructions will be posted soon.

-- The Field Inspection Program (FIP) was implemented on Monday, November 15th, 2010. The FIP program guidelines and Field Inspection Checklist are available on the this website.

Permit Fee Collection Sites
To date, the following permit fee collection sites have been approved:

Film Permit Fees

On November 30, 2010, the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors approved the 2011 County of Los Angeles Fire Code (Title 32). As a result the following fees will be effective January 1, 2011:

• Film Permit - $282.00
• Fuel-Dispensing Trucks and Vehicles - $223.00
• Pyrotechnics and Special Effects - $288.00
• Commercial Still Photography - $277.00 (on-site cast and crew numbers fifteen or more persons)
