CA-TF2 is partnered with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department in providing the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance with humanitarian assistance in the form of collapsed structure search and rescue, in response to natural and man-made disasters, throughout the world.

CA-TF2 personnel also participate on the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG). This United Nations sponsored group is made up of Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) professionals from around the world, that work together to coordinate international USAR mission organization, management and standards.
