The Technical Operations Section is part of the Department's Special Operations Bureau. The Technical Operations Section is responsible for the management, training and equipping of the Department's Urban Search and Rescue Program; California Urban Search and Rescue Task Force 2 Domestic and International Programs; Swift Water Rescue Program; Canine Search Program; and Project Life Saver, the Department's Technical Rescue Training Program. The Technical Operations Section is staffed by a Battalion Chief, USAR Program Coordinator Fire Captain; CA-TF2 Coordinator Fire Captain; Senior Secretary; and Logistics Specialist.
