2019 Behavioral Health Suicide Prevention & Awareness Safety Stand Down Adam Carrillo

September is National Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department participated in the second annual Behavioral Health Suicide Prevention and Awareness Safety Stand Down on Monday, September 23 through Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

The Stand Down was designed to remind all team members to take a moment and focus on their own emotional health and well-being.

The initiative was cultivated and developed through the hard work and effort of Labor and Management who partnered together to ensure that the health and wellness of the Fire family remain a priority.

Team members are encouraged to reach out and speak to any of the professional and peer support team resources listed above if need they help.
