REGISTER HERE FOR LOMITA – CERT CLASSES BEGINNING SATURDAY, JANUARY 12, 2019
Following a major disaster, police, fire and medical professionals may not be able to meet the demand for emergency medical attention. Residents and neighbors may need to rely upon one another to help with immediate life saving needs, particularly in isolated neighborhoods that may be cut off from the main roads.
The County of Los Angeles Fire Department Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training was developed through FEMA to provide basic fire safety and life saving skills.
All Classes are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Saturday, January 19, 2019: Disaster Medical Ops Part 2 / Light Search & Rescue / Disaster Psychology
Saturday, January 26, 2019: CERT Organization / Terrorism / Course Review & Disaster Simulation Exercise
There is NO CHARGE for CERT classes.
