At approximately 8:08 AM The Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 24 received a report of a vehicle in the submerged in the Palmdale Aqueduct. LACoFD Lifeguard’s Dive1 was activated to assist. LA County Lifeguard Dive Team members RON with LA County Air Ops to expedite response. Once on-scene Lifeguard Dive Team members assisted LA County Fire and Sheriff resources with locating and removing the vehicle. No patients were found and the vehicle was removed from the water. 6:30AM Los Angeles County Fire Department Lifeguard Division responded to a report of a capsized vessel with passengers in the water. The report was made by a passing tanker.
Santa Monica Beach was reopened early Thursday morning after a white substance washed ashore Wednesday night just north of the Santa Monica Pier.
