Class 243 Graduates from Paramedic Training Institute

Los Angeles County Paramedic Training Institute Class 243

Ten Los Angeles County firefighters graduated on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from the Los Angeles County Paramedic Training Institute as part of the program’s 243rd class.  The ceremony was held in the Marsee Auditorium at El Camino Community College in Torrance.

The Department congratulates its new firefighter paramedics:

  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Adolfo Chanez *
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Michael Dussinger *
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Joshua Flores
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Alexis Kendricks
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Daniel Martinez
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Kevin McGovern
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic James Reyes
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Jordan Rojas
  • Fire Fighter Paramedic Somkol Tho

Prior to graduation, these new paramedics completed six months of classroom, hospital and field training in emergency medical procedures.

Fire Chief Daryl Osby attended the graduation ceremony along with (in order, as pictured) Fire Captain Arlin Kahan, Assistant Chief Anthony Williams, Medical Director Clayton Kazan, Assistant Fire Chief Jon O’Brien, Assistant Fire Chief Scott Hale, Battalion Chief Nicholas Berkuta, Fire Captain Jordan Barnes and Fire Captain Victor Torres.
