New Fire Prevention Fees April 17, 2017

The Los Angeles County Fire Department has absorbed the costs associated with Fire Prevention services since the inception of the agency.  However, a fiscal impact assessment has been performed, which determined there is a need to apply new fees. Due to increasing demand for fire prevention services the Fire Department will be implementing new fees April 17th, 2017.

The LACoFD in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has determined the need to implement new fees for the following Fire Prevention/Life Safety Services.

  • Plan Reviews
  • Field Inspections
  • Permits

LACoFD will be launching an online payment system to assist with the collection of these fees.
Payments may be accepted online via credit card or in person via check, cashier’s check or money order at the following sites:

Note:  The LACoFD Film Desk and the Irwindale Fire Prevention Office are limited to a $500.00 dollar limit when paying by check, cashier’s check or money order.
