Team members from Fire Station 33 in Lancaster hosted a pre-game spaghetti dinner for the Antelope Valley High School football team on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

During a home football game, Fire Captains Michael Cash and Tommy Williams noticed a lack of attendance. They both decided to show their support to the team by having each working shift host a Thursday night dinner.

By opening the station’s doors to local students, members of the Department shared information about the fire service and reflected on the value of teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship.

“With everything going on in the world, we wanted to have a positive presence in the community and show our local football team that we support them. We hope to continue the tradition of hosting a community dinner,” said Captain Cash.
