On the evening of Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Association of Chief Officers jointly hosted the annual California Contract Cities Association (Association) Board of Directors General Dinner Meeting at the Los Angeles County Fire Museum in Bellflower. This year’s event theme was “A Night at the Museum”.
Fire Chief Daryl Osby welcomed attendees and also thanked members of the Association for the many years of team work and collaboration.
The Association was created as a result of the “Lakewood Plan”. It started as a network of eight contracting or member cities but quickly grew to the 74-city membership it is today. The members collectively work together for the common cause of serving residents.
