Thirteen employees from the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) graduated from the Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) and the Management Development Program (MDP) in December 2018.
LACoFD Assistant Fire Chief Anderson Mackey graduated from the 13-week ELDP on December 6 at the University of Southern California’s Davidson Conference Center in Los Angeles. The ELDP is a new County program created to increase leadership skills for mid- to senior-level managers who plan to pursue executive positions. The program is provided by contract between the County and the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy.
On December 17, twelve LACoFD employees, along with County employees from various departments, were recognized for their successful completion of the Department of Human Resources’ MDP. The ceremony took place at the Department of Public Works’ headquarters in Alhambra. The Los Angeles County University MDP aims to provide its participants with management knowledge and leadership strategies.
