LACoFD Firefighters Honored for Leadership and Public Service

On Friday, November 2, 2018, firefighters from Los Angeles County Fire Department were recognized at the Agents of Change 6th Annual Leadership & Public Service Awards ceremony.

On Friday, November 2, 2018, firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were recognized at the Agents of Change’s 6th Annual Leadership & Public Service Awards Ceremony.  University of Antelope Valley cofounders, Marco and Sandra Johnson, hosted the event at their home in the Antelope Valley.

This year’s honorees, LACoFD Fire Fighter Specialist (FFS) Wayne Tinsley (Fire Station 33) and Fire Fighter (FF) Brian Rodela (Fire Station 129) were recognized for their commitment to community outreach and leadership while serving the Antelope Valley community.

LACoFD Battalion Chief Steve Hernandez and Fire Captain Ken Garcia attended the ceremony in support of FFS Tinsley and FF Rodela.  Area Congressman Steve Knight served as the event’s keynote speaker.
