On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) hosted a flag ceremony at Fire Station 118 in the City of Industry in honor of Medium Truck Driver Dennis Rogers.  Rogers passed away at the age of 63 in November.

With heavy hearts, the Fire Department family bid a final farewell to Rogers who drove Utility 12 for the East Operations Bureau.  He dedicated 12 years of service and was known as a selfless, hardworking problem-solver that never said no.

“He was a loyal and committed Fire Department employee who gave his unwavering support to our firefighters.  He truly lived by our mission of being a proud protector of life and property,” said LACoFD Fire Chief Daryl Osby at Rogers’ funeral.

The LACoFD sends its thoughts and prayers with the Rogers family.
