Have you ever wanted to see the inside of a fire station? This month, you can! May is Fire Service Month, and in honor of this, all Los Angeles County Fire Stations will host a Fire Service Day Open House on Saturday, May 16.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can take tours of their local fire station, check out the station’s apparatus and get their blood pressure checked.
In addition to the open houses on May 16, each of the Department’s three regions will host a Regional Fire Service Day event, where residents can meet their local firefighters, learn more about the fire service, watch demonstrations and more.
