Celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Chief Deputy Dawnna Lawrence and Deputy Chief William McCloud of the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD), along with several team members, proudly participated in the 35th Annual Kingdom Day Parade on Monday, January 20, 2020, in Los Angeles.

This year’s theme was “Equality for All Humanity, Our Next Step”. Considered the nation’s largest celebration in his honor, the parade is organized by the Congress of Racial Equality of California (CORE-CA).

For the past decade, the Los Angeles County Stentorians has helped coordinate and fund the Department’s participation and delegation.

Each year, celebrities, elected officials, community leaders, local organizations, high school marching bands and first responders take part in the festivities.
