On the morning of Thursday, January 24, 2019, members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) attended the funeral and procession of LACoFD Fire Fighter Paramedic Randall Duarte of Fire Station 110. The ceremony took place at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Hacienda Heights.
During the service, LACoFD Fire Chief Daryl Osby shared heartfelt remarks and memories about FFPM Duarte and his time in the fire service.
FFPM Duarte passed away on Sunday, January 13, following a short-term illness. He will be greatly missed as he embodied the Department’s core values during his faithful 30+ years of service. He will forever be remembered by his LACoFD family.
Fire personnel displayed Quints 110 and 20 during the memorial service. Several engines from Duarte’s prior fire stations were also on display at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
