Ontario Reign Recognizes Claremont Fire Captain as “Hero”

On Friday, November 29, 2019, the Ontario Reign hockey team honored Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) Captain Brian Cieslak from Station 102 as its “Hero of the Night” at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.

On Friday, November 29, 2019, the Ontario Reign hockey team honored Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) Captain Brian Cieslak from Station 102 as its “Hero of the Night” at the Toyota Arena in Ontario.

Captain Cieslak is a 25-year veteran of the fire service, including 19 years with LACoFD. For the past 17 years, he has dedicated his time and effort to a project known as the “Family Instructions for Rapid Escape” or F.I.R.E. guide which debuts early next year.

The Ontario Reign’s “Hero of the Night” recognizes individuals who have committed themselves to helping others. At each home game, the nominated hero is recognized for their public service during the opening ceremony.
