Fourteen Los Angeles County firefighters graduated on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from the Los Angeles County Paramedic Training Institute as part of the program’s 242nd class.  The ceremony was held in the Marsee Auditorium at El Camino Community College in Torrance.

Prior to graduation, these new paramedics completed six months of classroom, hospital and field training in emergency medical procedures.
Fire Captain Victor Torres, Battalion Chief Brian Kane, Acting Deputy Chief Jon O’Brien, Chief Deputy David R. Richardson Jr., Battalion Chief Wesley Anzai and Battalion Chief Nicholas Berkuta attended the graduation ceremony.
