Fourth District Supervisor Janice Hahn’s First Annual Public Safety Appreciation Barbecue Lunch was held on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at the Hacienda Heights Community Center in honor of the public safety officers serving the communities of Unincorporated Whittier, Rowland Heights and Hacienda Heights.

In his remarks, Fire Chief Daryl Osby thanked Supervisor Hahn for her leadership and ongoing support of the public safety community. He also commended personnel from Fire Stations 15, 91, 96 and 145 for working to make their neighborhoods a safe place to live, work and play.

“We would not have quality of life. Period. If we did not have our public safety officers, our first responders,” said Hahn as she expressed gratitude for their contribution to the communities in District Four.
