At 3:09 p.m., on Thursday, June 29, County firefighters responded to a brush fire at South Topanga Boulevard and West Pacific Coast Highway in the City of Malibu. We are in unified command with the Los Angeles Fire Department.  195 personnel are assigned to this ongoing incident which is burning medium to heavy fuel. 

Structure protection is in place for communities to the east of the fire.  There are no reported injuries.
