LACoFD Firefighters Graduate from UAV Paramedic Program

Eleven firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department became the Department’s first class of paramedics to graduate from the University of Antelope Valley (UAV).

Eleven firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department became the Department’s first class of paramedics to graduate from the University of Antelope Valley (UAV).

Loved ones and friends attended a formal ceremony that was held on Thursday, September 28, 2018, in Lancaster.

Fire Chief Daryl Osby spoke at the graduation and congratulated the firefighters for successfully completing the paramedic program which proved to be geographically beneficial to those who live in the north region.
