On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s (LACoFD) Lifeguard Division held a formal graduation ceremony for Ocean Lifeguard Academy (OLA) 39 at Dockweiler State Beach’s Youth Center in Playa Del Rey.
Family and friends joined Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone, the Executive team, and the OLA cadre to honor the 45 graduates’ successful completion of the rigorous 13-day Academy.
